Yes, WhalePool supports anonymous users to participate in staking mining directly through their wallet address. Please note that to ensure the system correctly recognizes your staking status, the wallet address used for staking by anonymous users must be the same as the hashrate address connected to the miner. If the addresses do not match, the system will not be able to recognize that the address has completed staking, resulting in the inability to properly connect hashrate and receive PoW mining rewards.

Click "Unstake" at the top right corner of the Easystaking platform page. After confirmation, it will enter a waiting period of about 360 blocks (the specific duration depends on the block production speed).

After the waiting period ends, you need to manually click "Redeem" for the ALEO tokens to be returned to your wallet address.

No. The interest rate is fixed and is automatically deducted by the system from the current round of rewards during each settlement cycle. It is not affected by market prices or hashrate fluctuations.

Whether you are a new or existing user, the staking process remains the same:

1.Log in to the WhalePool platform

Select "Staking Mining" from the top navigation bar, open the staking calculator, and enter the total hashrate after adding the new miner. The system will automatically calculate the required additional ALEO amount. After confirmation, click "Participate in Staking," and the system will redirect to the Easystaking platform.

Connect LEO Wallet

Connect your LEO wallet on the Easystaking platform and ensure there are sufficient ALEO tokens in the wallet for staking.

3.Complete the staking

Once staking is successful, the system will automatically match the corresponding hashrate based on the staked amount and immediately start mining.

4.Important Note

The LEO wallet address used for staking must be the same as the miner wallet address bound to WhalePool; otherwise, the system cannot recognize hashrate and rewards.

After connecting the new miner and completing the staking, you can continuously receive the corresponding rewards.

Regarding automatic token borrowing:

If adding new miners results in additional inactive hashrate while the staked amount is temporarily insufficient, the system will automatically detect it and match the required staking amount, borrowing tokens to fill the gap. This helps you quickly activate the full hashrate and ensures timely receipt of complete mining rewards.

The staking operation usually takes effect within 15 minutes to 1 hour after being confirmed on-chain, depending on network congestion. You can check on the staking page whether the "Staking Status" and "Effective Hashrate" have been updated, or verify the staking transaction status through a blockchain explorer. If the status has not been updated, please refresh later or contact customer support for assistance.

Please check the following items for consistency:

Whether the wallet address bound to the WhalePool platform is the same as the LEO wallet address used for staking;

Whether the mining information has been correctly configured to connect to the miner or control panel (registered users and anonymous users have different configurations);

Whether the current staked tokens are sufficient to cover the connected hashrate.

If all of the above are correct but it still shows 0, please contact customer support for further assistance.

The common reason for staking failure or insufficient Gas is that you used your entire wallet balance for staking without reserving enough ALEO tokens for on-chain Gas fees. Every on-chain operation requires Gas, so it is recommended to keep at least 0.4–1 ALEO tokens in your wallet as fees.

Rest assured, if staking fails (for example, due to insufficient Gas or network interruption), the transaction will automatically roll back, and your tokens will not be lost.

To ensure smooth staking, please note the following:

1. Reserve Gas: Ensure your wallet has enough ALEO tokens to pay Gas fees before staking;

2. Network environment: It is recommended to initiate staking when the network is stable to increase transaction success rate;

3. Failure handling: If staking fails, add more Gas and try again.

Your staking operation will then be completed successfully, and the new hashrate will take effect in time.

Yes. The system will calculate the required amount of staked ALEO tokens based on your total hashrate. As long as the staked amount is sufficient, you will receive the full rewards from all miners.

A single staking wallet address can be bound and connected to multiple miners simultaneously. The system will dynamically allocate the total hashrate limit according to the total amount of tokens staked in that wallet.

Please pay close attention to miner configuration rules:

Anonymous users: The "miner address" in the miner configuration must be the staked LEO wallet address;

Registered users: Do not enter a wallet address in the miner configuration. Instead, use the format accountname.minername.

If the miner configuration's address or account name does not match the staking information, the system will not recognize the hashrate, and the miner will not receive rewards.

Currently, ALEO users must complete the process on a PC browser. The mobile App is not supported for staking mining. According to the protocol, only users who complete staking can normally receive mining rewards; if staking is not completed or the staked amount is insufficient, no rewards will be distributed.

Please follow the steps below to complete staking:

Step 1: Access the staking page

Log in to the WhalePool platform and open the "Staking Mining" page:

Step 2: Check the required staking amount

Use the "Staking Calculator," enter your total hashrate, and the system will display the required amount of ALEO tokens for staking.

Step 3: Redirect to Easystaking platform

Click "Participate in Mining," confirm, and you will be redirected to the Easystaking platform. Connect your LEO wallet.

Step 4: Install the LEO plugin wallet (if not already installed)

Go to the LEO wallet official website, click "Download" in the top right corner, select Google Extension;

You will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store, click "Add to Chrome" to install.

Step 5: Transfer ALEO tokens

Transfer the ALEO tokens you want to stake into your LEO wallet balance for staking operations.

Step 6: Execute the staking operation

Connect your wallet on the Easystaking platform;

Click "Stake Tokens," enter the amount, and confirm the transaction in the wallet popup.

Step 7: Bind the WhalePool reward withdrawal address

After staking is completed, return to the WhalePool platform:

Registered users: Set the mining account's withdrawal address as your LEO wallet address;

Anonymous users: In the miner configuration, the "Miner Address" must be the staked LEO wallet address.

️Note: The withdrawal address must match the staking address. Otherwise, the system cannot recognize it, and rewards may not be distributed properly.

Step 8: Check reward status

On the WhalePool website, go to the "Reward Payment" page to check your current staked amount and rewards.

Borrowed coin refers to when your staked token amount on the Easystaking platform is insufficient, when you haven’t staked tokens yet, or when your hashrate has not been activated. In such cases, the system will automatically match and lend you the required tokens to help activate and release your full hashrate, allowing you to earn complete mining rewards. The borrowed tokens require no extra action, as the system will automatically deduct the interest from your daily mining rewards.

Lent tokens refer to the excess tokens that automatically enter the "lending" state once the number of tokens you have staked on the Easystaking platform is sufficient to cover and activate your account’s full hashrate. Tokens in the lending state not only generate PoS rewards but also earn additional interest income. As long as the daily total of PoS rewards and interest exceeds the threshold of 5 ALEO tokens, both the interest and PoS rewards will be automatically settled and distributed to your account by the system at 10:00 (UTC+0) the following day.

Borrowed tokens are triggered automatically by the system and cannot be manually canceled. Once you have successfully staked ALEO tokens on the Easystaking platform, the system will instantly recognize and confirm your staked amount, thereby reducing or stopping automatic borrowing. Please note that rewards already distributed on the same day will not be adjusted after supplementary staking; the system calculates and settles in real time based on the staking and borrowing status at that moment.

On the Easystaking platform, the staking process is the same for all users and does not distinguish between miners and non-miners.

Non-miner users only need to successfully stake tokens to earn daily PoS staking rewards.

When staked tokens are successfully matched and lent by the system, they not only generate PoS rewards but also earn additional lending interest, increasing overall earnings.

Registered users: After logging in, you can check your daily PoS rewards and interest on the "Reward Payment" page.

Anonymous users: On the WhalePool homepage, enter your staked LEO wallet address to check the corresponding PoS rewards and interest.

You can confirm your staking status through the following methods:

1. Log in to the WhalePool website, go to the "Staking Mining" page, and check your wallet's staked amount and effective hashrate;

2. On the redirected Easystaking platform page, connect your wallet to directly view staking records and status;

3. Use a blockchain explorer, enter your wallet address, and check for successful staking transactions;

4. If still unsure, provide your wallet address and contact customer support to check your staking status and hashrate binding.

Borrowing tokens has no time limit. The system will automatically match borrowing or lending based on the actual amount of ALEO you have staked and the amount required for mining.

It is possible that the hashrate may not be fully supplemented. Details are as follows:

When the lender's tokens are insufficient, the system will prioritize matching the available portion of tokens, and the hashrate status may show as "partially supplemented."

The unsupplemented portion of hashrate will temporarily be in an "inactive" state, which can affect the corresponding PoW mining rewards.

The system will continuously re-match, and once new available lent tokens appear, the hashrate will automatically recover without any manual operation from the user.

It is recommended that borrowers stake sufficient tokens themselves to ensure stable and uninterrupted rewards.

Yes. Both registered and anonymous users can view status notifications under the "Inactive Hashrate" field on the "Check Rewards" page:

Partially Supplemented: Indicates that some tokens have been successfully borrowed and part of the hashrate has been supplemented;

Fully Supplemented: Indicates that all required tokens have been successfully borrowed and the hashrate is fully supplemented;

Not Supplemented: Indicates that the borrowing was unsuccessful, and no supplement status is shown.

This may be because the tokens lent on that day were not fully matched. Only the successfully matched portion can generate interest, while the remaining portion only earns PoS rewards.

WhalePool is mainly used for miner connection, hashrate display, and reward checking; Easystaking focuses on token staking, borrowing and lending, and fund management. The two platforms work together to provide mining and staking services.

After you unstake tokens, the miner’s hashrate will show as “Inactive.” The system will attempt to automatically match borrowed tokens to supplement the hashrate. The portion of hashrate that is successfully supplemented can still generate mining rewards. If it is not fully supplemented, you can restore full mining rewards by either restaking or waiting for the system to automatically match and borrow all required tokens.

Interest is not deducted in advance. After you generate mining rewards, the system automatically deducts interest from each round of earnings during settlement. The entire process is fully automated and requires no additional action from the user. The “Rewards Payment” page only shows the final amount after deduction, and the interest rate remains fixed.

All tokens you stake generate PoS rewards. However, only tokens that exceed your hashrate requirement and are successfully matched and lent to other users by the system will generate additional lending interest. If they are not lent on that day, they only earn PoS rewards without extra interest, which is normal.

When the amount of ALEO tokens you stake exceeds the required staking amount for your hashrate, the excess tokens will not remain idle.

These extra tokens will continue to generate PoS staking rewards for you, and the system will automatically match the excess portion to other users who have insufficient staking and need to borrow tokens.

Once the lending is successful, you will become the “lender.” In addition to continuing to enjoy PoS annualized returns, you can also earn additional daily interest income from the loaned tokens.

The current market reference annual interest rate is about 3% (the actual rate fluctuates in real time based on market conditions).

In other words, staking more ALEO not only ensures the stable operation of your mining hashrate, but also allows your idle tokens to earn both PoS rewards and lending interest, maximizing your overall returns.

The EasyStaking platform currently supports connecting PUZZLE Wallet and LEO Wallet, both of which can be used for staking ALEO tokens.

When registering or creating a wallet account, please make sure to:

Properly keep your wallet login password and private key (mnemonic phrase);

Never disclose your private key or mnemonic phrase to anyone;

Once the private key is lost, the platform will not be able to recover your assets.

When performing the unstaking and redemption operations on the EasyStaking platform, you can follow the steps below to quickly complete the token redemption process.

Open the redemption page

Go to the [Redeem Tokens] page on the EasyStaking platform and check the “Estimated Arrival Time” displayed at the top of the page.

This time is calculated by the system based on the ALEO blockchain height and indicates when your tokens can be redeemed.

Apply for unstaking in advance

It is recommended to go to the [Unstake] page 1–2 hours before the “Estimated Arrival Time” displayed on the redemption page, and click [Apply for Unstaking].

This allows the system to start processing the unlock procedure in advance, reducing waiting time.

Redeem tokens on time

When the “Estimated Arrival Time” shown on the redemption page is reached, click [Redeem Tokens] to complete the redemption operation.

The system will automatically release your staked assets and transfer them to your account balance.

Notes:

The unstaking and redemption processes both depend on the ALEO blockchain height. The system will execute the operation only when the block reaches the specified height.

By applying in advance and redeeming on time as described above, you can shorten the waiting time and avoid interruption of rewards.
